The 1990s gave birth to some utterly timeless and fantastic films, and for cinema buffs and nostalgic millennials alike, re-watching these movies is as enjoyable as the day you first watched them on VHS. 1. Jurassic Park (1993)

After seeing his beloved Tyrannosaurus Rex in full CGI, director Steven Spielberg decided to use computer animation for many of the shots in the movie, which at the time had never been done.

2. Dumb and Dumber (1994)
Though this film may not have the pedigree of some of the other movies on this list, Dumb and Dumber is without a doubt one of the most beloved comedies of all time. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels give  a performance of the ages.

This is a great movie to enjoy again and again, with many gut-busting scenes and quotable lines. Surely any true child of the 90s has a few lines from Dumb and Dumber memorized.

3. Pulp Fiction (1994)
As the Short List stated, Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction is one of the most violent but intriguing movies of all time, let a lone the 90s. Between Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis, Uma Thurman and John Travolta, this star-studded cult classic is gripping and thought-provoking, yet wildly artistic. It boasts unbelievable action, moments of side-splitting hilarity and an underlying curiosity.

To best enjoy Pulp Fiction, flip your phone to airplane mode and turn down the lights. This film deserves your undivided attention and the full cinematic experience. 

4. Titanic (1997)
One of the most celebrated movies of all time, this is one of the most quintessential films the 90s ever produced. With a run-time of three hours and thirty minutes, Titanic was once sold on two VHS tapes. Today, eager movie lovers can download this epic movie instantly and enjoy it again and again.

5. Goodfellas (1990)
This is another film that should not be missed. One of the best gangster movies of all time, Goodfellas is the tale of the rise and fall of organized crime. As one of Martin Scorsese's most beloved films, this flick combines romance and drama with the allure of a different sort of lifestyle. You'll find yourself in utter disdain of Ray Liotta, Joe Pesci and Robert De Nero, and yet long for the sort of unrestrained freedom they enjoy. This is film is wildly intense and deeply satisfying.
