Online survey ranks top movie sequels of all time

Pixar studios recently released the official trailer for "Finding Dory," the highly anticipated sequel to the 2003 animated film "Finding Nemo."  Another Pixar sequel, "Toy Story 3," was the studio's highest-grossing film of all time, according to Screen Rant, and the film took in $940 million worldwide. Considering "Finding Nemo" is second on the list at $867 million, "Finding Dory" could be another smashing success.

Film sequels aren't always grand encores, and can sometimes taint the original movie. Other sequels, however, can be just as brilliant as the first film, taking beloved characters and plots to new heights. An online survey conducted by IMDB recently asked users to rank the best film sequels of all times. Opinion Outpost members can make money at home online and also earn gift cards to websites like Amazon*; if you haven't seen these films, taking paid surveys online is an easy way to pay for these movies.

#5: The Godfather Part II
This 1974 film is a sequel to the classic gangster movie "The Godfather" that came out two years prior. Both "The Godfather" and "The Godfather Part II" are critically acclaimed, and both films have won the Academy Award for Best Picture.

Set in 1958, "The Godfather Part II" is actually a prequel to the original movie, centered on the rise of Al Pacino's character, Don Corleone.

#4: Star Wars Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
Between the opening Hoth sequence and the introduction of Yoda, Episode V is one of the most iconic Star Wars films. Though it beat out "The Godfather Part II" by just a few dozen votes in IMDB's poll, it is undoubtedly one of the most classic film sequels in cinema history.

#3: The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
Like Episode V, "The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King"  is part of a larger saga, one of the most popular of all time. This 2003 movie is the third installment in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Ring's trilogy, and to date the film has grossed over $1 billion worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo.

#2: Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Arnold Schwarzenegger's second showing as the Terminator produced one of the greatest sci-fi films of all time. Famous movie critic Richard Roeper listed "Terminator 2" as one of his favorite sequels, going as far as to say the second Terminator film "surpasses the original in every level."

Despite such high praise, "Terminator 2" still ranks only second in IMDB's online survey. Using Opinion Outpost is a perfect way to make money from home to purchase the top rated sequel...

#1: The Dark Knight
Behind Heath Ledger's chilling portrayal of the Joker, Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight"  is one of the most riveting Batman film ever made, and the top-ranked movie sequel of all time, according to IMDB. The movie was nominated for 8 Academy Awards, and start to finish is epically entertaining.

While "Finding Dory" won't be very similar to "The Dark Knight", taking paid surveys online is a great way to earn extra cash and see your favorite movies in theaters or at home.
